How composite material works
Fibre reinforced plastics consist of a matrix of reaction resin with forcefit embedded reinforced mostly highstrength fibres. Certain additives are admixed in order to obtain materials with desired properties such as colour, specific density, heat behaviour etc. .
We process almost all types of fibrous materials based on glass, cabon, and aramid. Fine-tuned to the target functionality, technical environment, and economical criteria every shaped mould is made up of specifically confectioned fibres and thermosetting plastics (unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, or vinylester resins) to create a specific leight-weight and high-strength product. Usually, the prehardened shaped moulds are thermally post-treated (annealing) according to the resin producer´s specifications.
