Mould Construction
Appropriate moulds are the decisive success factor when it comes to manufacturing high-value composite parts, quality-assured.
The fibre material is laid out within or on the mould and impregnated with resin. The manufacturing process, the structural type of the component, its size and complexity, the number of mouldings, and the required surface properties determine what material has to be chosen (foam, GRP or derived timber products).
Shaping moulds are mostly built on the basis of a CAD-designed 3-dimensional
model. Our design department uses the model data to develop a machine control sequence.
Our CNC milling machine works in a CAD/CAM environment that allows for precision producing even most complex shapes and outlines.
Multiple moulded parts produced from one mould reduce manufacturing expenses and thus the costs per piece.
