Showroom ORWELL

White Elegance: Translucente Cubes for ORWELL

For the new showroom of the fashion company we have manufactured several illuminable furniture based on a draft of the designer Christina Buesen.

The 7.50 m long counter, the seats and the putting elements consist completely of even panels of HALUSITE®, the high-quality glass-fibre reinforced plastic. The special on this project: By embedding a special fine-structurated fabric the material shows a very noble seeming.

In our manufactury we have produced about 40 GRP panels, which then have been mitre-cut and right-angled glued together with transparent adhesive. Inside the cube a extracable roll framework on a sturdy base carries dimmable fluorescent lamps.
Regarding the transport, the handling and the maintenance of the electricity the elements were manufactured in several parts and added together locally.
