Porous structures create marble effects. Aluminium foam panels come transparent on either side. On request it is possible to HALUSITE®-coat them randomly dyed and with high optical surface quality - opaque or translucent.
Such sandwich designs are perfectly suitable for modern light-weight structures as they feature an optimum weigth-to-flexural strengt ratio.
HALUSITE® with Stainless Steel Fabric
An extraordinarily attractive and overall convincing combination. The embedded steinless steel fabric offers an additional refractory dimensiion incorporated into this translucent coloured carrier material. Furthermore, this material synthesis wiht relatively thin HALUSITE® coatings offers a comparably high breaking strength.
HALUSITE® with Hollow Micro Balls
This combination enhanced the weight-specific material stiffness and inspires due to its innovative and aestetical effect. It is possible to create translucent sandwich structures from HALUSITE® from honeycomb patterns between 2 mm and 6 mm (0.08 in and 0.24 in).
HALUSITE® with Fibre Fabric
A particularly white finish can be obtained by incorporating a fine-structured fabric into HALUSITE® objects. Light is only partly reflected from the shimmering surface what enables illumination concepts with changing colours to effectually emphasize shaped objects.
